Section 1.0
Introduction
Welcome to FixFlip, available at
https://fixflip.in
.
FixFlip operates an online platform connecting customers
with participating mobile phone dealers and repair service
partners for buying phones, selling used phones and
booking repair services.
FixFlip generally earns commissions from participating
partners. Customers generally pay the relevant
partner directly.
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of FixFlip's
website, application and related platform services.
By using the platform, you agree to these terms,
subject to applicable law.
Section 2.0
Role of FixFlip
FixFlip provides a platform for customers and participating
partners to connect and coordinate transactions.
Unless a specific transaction expressly states otherwise,
FixFlip is not the direct seller of a partner's phone,
the purchaser of a customer's used phone, the recipient
of the customer's transaction payment or the repair
technician performing the service.
The relevant partner is responsible for fulfilling
the transaction or service it accepts, including
applicable product descriptions, payment arrangements,
invoices, delivery, repair work and warranties.
However, FixFlip remains responsible for its own
obligations under applicable law. Nothing in these
terms excludes any responsibility that cannot
legally be excluded.
Section 3.0
Partner and Seller Information
Where applicable, the relevant product listing or
transaction information will identify the participating
seller or service provider, its relevant contact details,
the product or service offered and the applicable terms.
Customers should review the partner's identity,
product condition, price, warranty and return or
refund terms before confirming a transaction.
Section 4.0
Buying Phones
Phone listings may include new, used or refurbished
devices. The listing should describe the device's
condition, specifications, included accessories,
price and applicable warranty or return terms.
Product availability and final fulfilment are
subject to confirmation by the relevant partner.
The partner is responsible for providing accurate
product information, accepting and fulfilling
the order, issuing the applicable invoice and
handling payment, subject to applicable law.
FixFlip may help coordinate enquiries,
order updates and complaints.
Section 5.0
Selling Used Phones
Customers may submit details about a phone to obtain
an indicative valuation or selling offer.
An online valuation is an estimate unless expressly
stated to be a binding offer. The partner may inspect
the device and verify its condition, functionality,
ownership and other relevant details.
If the final offer differs from the initial estimate,
the revised offer and reasons for the change should
be communicated to the customer.
The transaction should proceed only after the customer
accepts the applicable final offer.
The customer must have the lawful right to sell
the device and must not submit stolen, unlawfully
obtained or fraudulently represented devices.
The partner buying the phone is responsible for
paying the customer according to the agreed
transaction terms.
Section 6.0
Repair Services
FixFlip may connect customers with participating
repair partners for doorstep or other repair services.
The relevant repair partner is responsible for
assessing the device, explaining the proposed repair,
disclosing applicable charges, obtaining approval
before undertaking chargeable work and performing
the agreed service.
Customers should approve the applicable quotation
before repair work begins. Additional work or charges
require appropriate disclosure and approval.
Repair warranties, if offered, apply according
to the specific repair listing, quotation,
invoice or warranty document.
Section 7.0
Payments and Commissions
Customers generally pay the relevant phone dealer
or repair partner directly.
FixFlip receives commission from participating
partners under separate partner arrangements.
The commission payable by a partner to FixFlip
is not an additional customer charge unless
expressly and lawfully disclosed as part of
a particular transaction.
The partner is generally responsible for payment
collection, refunds, invoicing and transaction
records, subject to the actual arrangement
and applicable law.
Customers should not transfer money to an individual
claiming to represent FixFlip unless the payment
arrangement has been independently verified
through official channels.
Section 8.0
Cancellation, Returns and Refunds
Cancellation, return, replacement and refund
eligibility depends on the applicable product
or service terms disclosed before the transaction
and on applicable law.
The relevant seller or service provider is generally
responsible for processing the customer's
transaction-related refund.
FixFlip may assist with communication
and complaint escalation.
Nothing in these terms removes a customer's
statutory rights relating to defective,
deficient, misdescribed or otherwise legally
non-compliant goods or services.
Section 9.0
Warranty
A refurbished phone may carry a six-month
warranty where the specific product listing
or warranty document expressly provides it.
Warranty coverage, exclusions, provider and claim
procedure must be disclosed for the relevant
transaction.
Repair-service warranties are separate and depend
on the specific repair partner's disclosed terms.
A warranty should not be assumed where
it has not been offered.
Section 10.0
Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
-
Provide accurate contact and transaction information.
-
Use the platform lawfully.
-
Avoid fraudulent transactions and misleading
device descriptions.
-
Provide devices they are legally entitled to sell.
-
Protect their account credentials and report
suspected unauthorised activity.
-
Avoid interfering with the platform or
misusing partner contact details.
Section 11.0
Platform Availability
FixFlip may update, improve or temporarily suspend
platform features for maintenance, security
or operational reasons.
We will handle such changes consistently with
applicable law and existing transaction obligations.
Section 12.0
Intellectual Property
The FixFlip name, branding, website design,
original content and platform materials are
protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
They may not be copied or used without authorisation,
except where permitted by law.
Section 13.0
Complaints and Disputes
Customers may contact FixFlip at
fixflipindia@gmail.com
to raise a platform-related or
transaction-coordination complaint.
The relevant seller or repair partner should
also be identified in the applicable listing
or transaction information.
Complaints will be handled according to applicable
law, including legally required acknowledgment
and resolution timelines.
Section 14.0
Liability
Each party's responsibilities depend on its
actual role in the relevant transaction
and applicable law.
Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights
or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Section 15.0
Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable laws of India.
Any jurisdiction or dispute-resolution clause must
be interpreted consistently with mandatory law
and the jurisdiction of competent authorities.
Section 16.0
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time.
Revised terms will be published on this page
with an updated date.
Material changes will be communicated where
required by law.
